Mackenzie is a creative at heart.

Mackenzie (she/her) has been consistently characterized by her steadfast dedication to enhancing creative strategy within advocacy. We all have stories to tell and she is passionate about bringing a unique perspective to content creation. Mackenzie is mission-informed and interested in anti-racism work and believes we all deserve access to what makes us thrive - affordable housing, access to healthcare including reproductive care, access to clean water, non-discrimination for the LGBTQ+ community, protection of democracy and voting rights - just to name a few.

From being in communications for progressive faith-based industry for 8+ years, Mackenzie knows the magnitude communications can have on our communities and our nation. As a queer and neurodivergent person, Mackenzie continues to fight for LGBTQ+ rights for inclusion on a federal level and supports local mutual aid funds in Washington, DC and the surrounding areas. She is a mental health and trauma activist who believes that healthcare should be accessible to all. She first dipped her toes into activism in college as an organizer for on-campus events, fundraisers and change in the administration.

Mackenzie was raised in the land of the Lenni Lenape Tribe in Unionville, Pennsylvania. Mackenzie was constantly in nature as a child. In a town with rolling hills and the Brandywine river, there was always a place to hike and a river to swim in. In her free time, Mackenzie enjoys spending time with her partner and her cat Smokey Stout, going thrifting with friends, hosting dinner parties, volunteering at her Aunt’s animal rescue farm LaMancha, fundraising for mutual aid funds and working on her next creative endeavor. She is currently building out branding for a business concept, stay tuned!
